Kim Field

Kimberly Field

Master Instructor Kim Field began training in martial arts in 1980 at age 5, studying Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan, a.k.a. Soo Bahk Do. She continued to study Tang Soo Do for 18 years, earning several forms and sparring national titles, as well as opening her first martial arts studio in Newport, Rhode Island with her father.

Kim moved to Los Angeles studying and teaching for Jun Chong TaeKwonDo and the World United Martial Arts Organization. She began kickboxing while in Los Angeles under Redwood Kickboxing in Venice Beach. Since moving to Colorado in 2002 she has competed in amateur Kickboxing events and been promoted to Master in Taekwondo and Hapkido.

Master Kim is most fulfilled by the friendships made and sustained with her students around the country. Kim is an inspiration to everyone in our organization. Her 32 years of experience, and genuine link to "old school training" (she remembers using oil cans for paddles - paddles weren't invented yet) offers the true essence of a Master. At the ripe old age of 37 Master Kim sets the standard for dedicated martial artists.
